OUR STORY
The idea behind INTRA|V started between two friends with a passion for the health industry and their Texas hometown. One of our INTRA|V founders, a long-time chiropractor, nutritionist, and nurse practitioner realized that many of his patients kept coming back for supplements or forgetting to take them on a regular basis. To answer this need, he reached out to a good friend to talk business. The idea was to provide the community of The Woodlands Texas with a supplement solution and a health benefit that lasted - and INTRA|V was born.
INTRA|V began as a way to provide their local clients with access to customized drips, supplements, and nutritional testing to live their best, happiest, healthiest lives. INTRA|Vs local ownership and intimate involvement lets the team immediately pivot and create customized drips and plans for all clients.
This level of community pride and involvement is something that franchised competitors can’t match. The owners and the INTRA|V team live, work and raise their families in the Katy, TX and The Woodlands area, and it is their privilege and honor to provide personalized IV Vitamin Infusions, IM shots, and blood testing for their community members' long-term health benefits.

All of our vitamins and minerals are sourced from accredited nationwide compounding pharmacies that comply will all FDA laws.

We are regulated by the Texas Board of Medicine and Texas Nursing Board. All of our IV’s are administered by licensed nurses with all the appropriate certification and training.

We offer two different sizes of IV bags that we administer, 500mL and 1000mL. Both bags have the same amount of vitamins but different amounts of saline solution. The 500mL IV usually takes between 15-30 minutes and the 1000mL IV usually takes 30-45 minutes. We do, however, regulate the speed of the IV to make sure the customer is comfortable during the whole process.

This depends on your own personal health goals. We recommend once a week but can modify plans to fit your schedule and health needs. We offer the option of doing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly treatments. If you are looking for one-off services such as an immunity boost at the onset of a cold, or need an energy boost for a long flight, we provide single drips as well.

Our staff of registered nurses are well trained in starting IVs and will do their best to help you feel comfortable. The needle we use is small and only penetrates the skin 1-2mm then the catheter is slipped down the needle into the vein, and the needle is withdrawn. This means that there is no needle in while the IV is being administered so moving around isn’t a problem.

Short answer 5-7 days.
Long Answer: We have seen effects last up to 4 weeks on patients with particular symptoms. It is hard to estimate for each individual due to metabolism, lifestyle, diet and variable daily metabolic needs. However, on average we have seen the effects last approximately 5-7days.

An IV drip is the quickest way of getting vitamins and minerals into our bodies. So, in most instances you can feel the effects of your drip by the time you finish your treatment.

Make sure you drink plenty of water before your appointment. This will ensure that your veins are pronounced and it will make for an easier catheter insert.

Unfortunately, no we do not accept insurance at this time. We do, however, accept HSA & FSA as forms of payment.
